GOD,ZERO AND INFINITY

In the name of Allah, The Beneficent, The Merciful

         Aristotle

Aristotle, the father of all sciences, was a staunch enemy of ‘zero.’ Though he was a believer in God, he believed that nothing can be created from nothing. Aristotle used to preach that vacuum is not found in nature because nature hates void (zero). Now we know that Aristotle was totally wrong as vacuum occurs in nature. Space is a large vacuum.In-fact, a major part of universe is vacuum. Galaxies and stars are but like oasis in the desert of infinite vacuum. As Aristotle was against void (zero) nobody dared to propose the dangerous idea of zero. Going against Aristotle was going against religion. The Greeks and the Romans were prevented to discover zero owing to the domination Aristotle had on peoples mind for two thousand years.Galileo was the first person to prove Aristotle wrong; in his leaning tower of Pisa experiment. To this day roman numbers lack a zero, thanks to Aristotle.
Zero does not represent nothing, it actually represents the unexplainable. In the world of language, different combinations of different alphabets are used to represent the all encompassing personality of God; Allah, Rahman, God, Elohi, Eshwar etc.In the world of mathematics, the symbol ‘0-zero’ and Infinity represent God. But the fact is , very few people actually know that.If we analyse some of the properties of zero and infinity it will become obvious that they represent God.
Properties of Zero

When you think you are zero , you become one with the divine.

When zero is multiplied with any number you will always get a zero. Zero sucks all the numbers and nullifies them. All the numbers vanish in zero. Each number represents a thing. It means there is an entity which is capable of nullifying all the things, including the galaxies and black holes. That powerful entity which is capable of vanishing the whole universe is God which is represented as zero in mathematics.

Quran:55:26: “Kullu man AAalayha fanin

All that lives on earth or in the heavens is bound to perish.

Wayabqa wajhu rabbika thoo aljalali waalikrami

55:27: But will remain (for ever) the Face of thy Lord,- full of Majesty, Bounty and Honour.”

When a zero comes on the left side of a number, it remains the same; means it does not increase in value. But when zero comes on the right side of the number its value is increased. This simply means that if we don’t give importance to God and keep Him on the left side (left represents less or negative) in our lives, we shall never progress. But if we give him proper place in our lives and keep him on the right side we progress and increase in value. The more you follow the commandments of God, the more zeros you are putting on your right side and vice-versa.

Quran :2:261: “Mathalu allatheena yunfiqoona amwalahum fee sabeeli Allahi kamathali habbatin anbatat sabAAa sanabila fee kulli sunbulatin miatu habbatin waAllahu yudaAAifu liman yashao waAllahu wasiAAun AAaleemun

THE PARABLE of those who spend their possessions for the sake of God is that of a grain out of which grow seven ears, in every ear a hundred grains: for God grants manifold increase unto whom He wills; and God is infinite, all-knowing.”

1/0 is infinity
If we divide any number by zero, we get infinity. What does that means? Well, it means if we share our deeds with God they become infinitely big. If you just give coin purely for the sake of God, it carries infinitely large reward. Dividing is sharing. Hence, the best thing is to live our lives for the sake of God which makes you deserving of an infinite life in the paradise of infinity.

Quran:16: 97: “Whoever does good, whether male or female, and is a believer, We shall certainly make him live a good life, and We shall certainly give them their reward for the best of what they did.”

Infinity

Infinity also represents God. Nothing can limit God. His existence has no end and His creative power also does not have any limitations. He can keep on creating the universes for an infinite period of time. He is far from us as well as close to us than our jugular vein.

In one of his prayer the Holy Prophet said; “O’ Thou, who is far as well as near (Ya Baeedo ya Qareeb).” The word ‘far’ represents infinity and the word ‘near’ represents zero.
Quran:50:16: “And We have already created man and know what his soul whispers to him, and We are closer to him than [his] jugular vein.”
Zero and infinity represents the contradictory dual aspects of God. He is Rahman as well as Jabbar, He  is loves as well as punishes, He give as well as takes, He is humble as well as extremely arrogant, He gives life as well as causes death, He makes the night as well as the day.

Quran:36:36: “ Subhana allathee khalaqa alazwaja kullaha mimma tunbitu alardu wamin anfusihim wamimma la yaAAlamoona

Glory to Allah, Who created in pairs all things that the earth produces, as well as their own (human) kind and (other) things of which they have no knowledge.”

His creation also shows dual nature; a kind of His signature. Electron is both wave and a particle. Light is made of electricity and magnetism, DNA is made of two complimentary strands, the phenomena of matter and anti-matter, male and the female, good and the bad, truth and falsehood etc.

"If the doors of perception were cleansed everything would appear to man as it is, infinite. For man has closed himself up, till he sees all things through narrow chinks of his cavern." -- William Blake
